I have not worked with an interior designer before. How does it work?

Once you contact us, we will schedule a phone call to discuss your project. The questions will cover what you want to accomplish, the function of the spaces involved, your style preferences, your timeline, budget and anything else that will impact a successful design. Once we have both agreed that our design firm can help you, we schedule an onsite visit. From there, we will discuss the project, the budget and timeline and if we are in agreement, a contract for the project will be created.

Why do you charge for the initial consultation?

Once we have had our initial phone conversation/consultation our team will begin formulating ideas. When I get to your home I am ready to begin sharing my 27+ years of knowledge and expertise. The ideas presented during our initial consultation will help you avoid costly mistakes should you decide to move forward on your own. 

I am interested in remodeling. How do I get started?

The first step in the process is finding trades to work with. Hiring a qualified interior designer whom you connect with will streamline the process. We will work with your architects and tradespeople, or can help you find the right fit in our network. Determining the budget is one of the most important parts of a successful remodel. After we have met and discussed your vision, we can help you in budgeting for your lifestyle.

What do your services cost?

When we meet, we will evaluate and discuss the most efficient way to approach and complete your project. We work in several ways which we customize to you. Most projects are a flat fee structure, but we can also work on an hourly proposal, prepaid in specified sets of hours.

Do you have a minimum scope of work?

No, we will take projects of all sizes, from a single window treatment to a full-scale design project.
