Custom Window Treatments and Soft Furnishings

Windows are your home’s view of the world. Window treatments will enhance what you see through those windows, as well as detract from a less than pleasing view.

Custom window coverings are just that…custom. When designing draperies and valances, your view, window style, architectural style, personal style and more are taken into account. If you have stellar views or need to let in as much light as possible, the window treatment will be designed accordingly. If your view is less than pleasing – a condo’s view of the side of the next building, an alley – the treatment can be designed to detract and hide this while emphasizing your style.

The length, width, fabric and fullness all depend on your windows and the design. Our draperies, valances and shades are truly custom, not like made to measure which are limited to certain designs and specifications. My window fashions are original and specifically made for your home, taking into account all of the architectural details – or lack there of – in your home and windows.

The process begins with your phone call. I will ask you questions about your home and what you are looking for. I will tell you more about who I am and what I do. We will discuss budget and your likes and dislikes. I may give you some homework! From here we will make a date for the initial consultation. This may take a couple of hours. We will review your windows and the room(s), discuss your options and develop a plan. We will again discuss and agree on a budget based on this consultation. I will take measurements and photos at this time.

Now the magic begins! I will take all of the information I have gathered and come back to you with fabric and trim selections and design options. Additional soft furnishings that will finish your look include decorative pillows, custom bedding, custom chair and bench cushions, shower curtains and more!

From concept to installation, I will handle the entire project.
